Scar Revision

Scar Revision is used to treat traumatic or surgical scarring. This is usually accomplished by excising the scar and closing the wound with minimal tension using a variety of techniques designed to minimize the appearance of the scar. The use of the laser can be employed as well.

Skin Cancer or Lesion Removal

Skin cancer treatment and lesion removal is often done as an in-office procedure where lesions are removed surgically and submitted for pathology. Many times non-cancerous lesions can be shave excised (not requiring stitches). However, some moles, cysts, and deeper lesions must be fully excised requiring the defect to be closed cosmetically. For cancerous lesions when advisable, Moh's surgery may be recommended and employed by a dermatologist and the cosmetic closure accomplished in our office.
