Rhinoplasty is the procedure performed to improve the appearance of the nose and is performed to reduce an overly large nose or refine the nose by reducing a prominent nasal hump, narrowing or straightening the body of the nose, and/or refining the nasal tip. This surgery is done to create a nose that is natural and proportionally balanced while maintaining function. When indicated, this procedure is performed in combination with straightening the nasal septum (Septoplasty) to improve the nasal airway. There are no external incisions and Dr. Craig does not use any intranasal packing to minimize post-operative discomfort. Minimal bruising is usually experienced.
